Job summary
Constellium SE in Ravenswood, WV seeks an Automation Engineer to support, maintain, and develop automation control systems across the rolling process. You’ll work with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and field instrumentation, collaborating with engineers to design and document new systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting Level 1 control systems in manufacturing.
- Experience programming, troubleshooting, and supporting PLC-based control systems per IEC 61131-3.
- Understanding of PLC hardware and automation principles; exposure to AB, Siemens, Modicon platforms preferred.
- Working knowledge of Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, TCP/UDP.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, design and improve automation control systems in aluminum manufacturing facility.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and develop IEC 61131-3 based control system code.
- Set up, commission and debug hardware and field instrumentation.
- Support AC/DC drives and develop intuitive HMI screens.
- Interface with area engineers to resolve process issues.
- Configure industrial networks (Profinet/Profibus/Modbus/OPC).
- Participate in FAT/SAT and document change logs.
- Back up PLC/drive projects and integrate 3rd party products.
