Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue in a defined Minnesota territory. You will conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, traveling to client sites to understand needs, close deals, and meet sales quotas.

The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and delivering expert product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering/Industrial Supply/Business
• Outside sales experience in industrial markets is a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proven ability to build client relationships

Responsibilities

• Promote Baldwin products: power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motors, automation and industrial supply
• Identify target prospects and create plans to convert prospects into customers
• Build and sustain long-lasting customer relationships
• Provide best-in-class customer service and technical expertise
• Coordinate with product specialists and inside sales to manage current and secure new business
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to Baldwin
• Attend company-sponsored sales and technical training
• Meet with assigned customers at facilities (30%), prospect for new customers (20%), compete at existing accounts (20%), coordinate with teams (20%), ongoing training (10%)
