Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company in Fridley, MN is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow and manage assigned accounts and collaborate with Field Sales to expand the business. The Inside Sales position will act as a liaison between customers and the dedicated Field Sales Representative by providing pricing, availability and any required customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years inside sales and/or distribution experience.
• Experience collaborating with Field Sales and running sales campaigns.
• Experience implementing incentive plans to boost sales & profitability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries about product selection, orders, pricing, and quotes; manage credits and complaints.
• Answer sales calls and emails; assist with counter sales as needed.
• Expedite orders and literature requests; manage complete order process and communication.
• Describe products and assist customers in selecting best solutions.
• Quote prices, terms, availability, delivery dates; process orders.
• Maintain accurate account records with attention to detail.
• Enter sales orders and purchase customer requirements for price lines.
• Organize and maintain product catalogs; coordinate with internal teams and carriers.
• Provide product/technical support to generate new and repeat sales.
• Place orders with suppliers per company guidelines; analyze customer needs.
