Job summary

Baldwin Supply, a Midwest distributor of mechanical power transmission, belts and electrical controls, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to grow assigned accounts and collaborate with Field Salespeople. You will provide pricing, availability and exceptional customer service to support sales campaigns and order execution.

You will work closely with Field Sales and internal teams, expanding relationships, expediting orders, and delivering tailored product recommendations to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection and orders.
• Answer incoming sales calls & emails; assist with counter sales as needed.
• Expedite orders and requests for literature or information.
• Manage complete order process and communicate with customers.
• Describe products and assist customers in selecting best options.
• Quote prices, terms, availability, delivery dates and process orders.
• Maintain records for accounts with attention to detail.
• Organize product catalog library and coordinate with internal teams.
• Provide technical/product assistance to generate new and repeat sales.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers within guidelines.
• Attend product and training sessions; develop product knowledge.
• Support customers with application questions to close sales.
