Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an experienced outside sales representative to drive revenue in an assigned territory. You will conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, traveling to client sites to understand needs, close deals, and meet sales quotas.

Qualifications

Proven outside sales experience in an industrial setting.
Experience building and maintaining customer relationships in an assigned territory.
Ability to identify prospects and convert them into customers.
Demonstrated success in meeting sales quotas and driving revenue.

Responsibilities

Promote Baldwin’s power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products.
Identify target prospects and create strategic plans to convert them into customers.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Provide best-in-class customer service and technical expertise.
Coordinate with product specialists and inside sales to manage current and secure new business.
Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to Baldwin.
Participate in sales and technical training sessions.
Meet with assigned customers at their facilities (30%).
Prospect for new customers (20%).
Outperform competitors at existing accounts (20%).
Coordinate internally to grow the business (20%).
Engage in ongoing product/industry knowledge training (10%).
