Job summary

Baldwin Supply Company is seeking an experienced outside sales representative to drive revenue in a Wisconsin territory. You will conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, traveling to client sites to understand needs and close deals within a defined territory.

Responsibilities include promoting power transmission, conveyor belting, motors, automation, and industrial supplies, building lasting relationships, and coordinating with product specialists to grow current

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Supply or Business
• Industrial Sales- 5 years experience preferred
• Outside sales experience in industrial markets
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage a sales territory
• Established client relationships in industrial markets
• Competitive mindset with a passion to solve problems
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• CRM software proficiency and digital communication tools
• Strong computer skills
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Promote Baldwin power transmission, conveyor belting, electric motor, automation and industrial supply products. Recommend products and services with best performance-to-cost ratio based on customer requirements
• Identify target prospects and create strategic plans to turn prospects into customers
• Build and sustain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Coordinate with product specialists and inside sales to manage current business and secure new business
• Maintain professional relationships with strategic suppliers to Baldwin
• Participate in company-sponsored sales and technical training sessions
• Meet with assigned customers at their facilities; promote Baldwin’s value and products
