Job summary

BBP, a long-established distributor of industrial instrumentation and control systems, seeks an Account Manager for the Chattanooga area. This full-time, on-site role focuses on growing a defined territory by identifying new opportunities and maintaining existing accounts through consultative selling and strong relationships.

You will visit customer sites, lead meetings, prepare quotes, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong account management and customer service skills to maintain relationships and grow accounts.
• Sales and sales management experience to drive revenue and manage pipelines.
• Market planning skills to analyze territory potential and develop strategic plans.
• Experience in industrial sales, instrumentation, valves, or process control is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Visit industrial customer sites to identify needs and opportunities.
• Conduct consultative sales meetings with customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare quotes and proposals for opportunities and renewals.
