Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking an experienced Industrial MRO Sales Product Specialist to drive growth in bakery, meat processing, and produce manufacturing accounts across multiple states. The role is highly consultative, requiring collaboration with maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement leaders to uncover opportunities that reduce costs and consolidate suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial/MRO sales, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial sales, MRO sales, maintenance supply or industrial distribution experience.
• Experience selling into manufacturing, processing, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• Strong relationship-building with maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth within existing manufacturing and processing accounts.
• Identify and develop new MRO business opportunities.
• Conduct facility assessments to uncover cost savings and process improvements.
• Partner with Account Managers to expand customer penetration and wallet share.
• Build relationships with maintenance, operations, engineering, and purchasing stakeholders.
• Develop and implement pricing and product conversion strategies.
• Present value-based solutions to improve productivity and procurement efficiency.
• Maintain an active pipeline and manage opportunities independently.
• Significant travel throughout the region with some international travel.
