Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking an experienced Industrial MRO Sales Product Specialist to grow MRO opportunities in bakery, meat processing, and produce manufacturing facilities across multiple states. The role emphasizes consultative selling, cost reduction, and supplier consolidation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial sales with the ability to engage maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement teams, and to travel extensively within the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial sales, MRO sales, maintenance supply sales, or industrial distribution experience.
• Experience selling into manufacturing, processing, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth within existing manufacturing and processing accounts.
• Identify and develop new MRO business opportunities.
• Conduct facility assessments to uncover cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Account Managers to expand customer penetration and wallet share.
• Build relationships with maintenance, operations, engineering, and purchasing stakeholders.
• Develop and implement pricing and product conversion strategies.
• Present value-based solutions that improve productivity, inventory management, and procurement efficiency.
• Maintain an active pipeline and manage opportunities independently.
