Job summary

Bunzl North America seeks an experienced Industrial MRO Sales Product Specialist to grow bakery, meat processing, and produce manufacturing accounts. The role is consultative, partnering with maintenance, operations, engineering, and procurement to reduce costs and consolidate suppliers.

You will manage an active pipeline and travel extensively across the region. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial sales with a mechanical aptitude and strong presentation, negotiation, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ~5+ years of industrial sales, MRO sales, maintenance supply sales, or industrial distribution experience.
• Experience selling into manufacturing, processing, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated success in business development and growing existing accounts.
• Experience working directly with maintenance managers, plant managers, operations leaders, engineers, or procurement teams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Effective use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required.
• Experience with IBM I-Series/AS400 operating system highly desired.
• Ability to travel extensively with overnight stays with some occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth within existing manufacturing and processing accounts.
• Conduct facility assessments to uncover cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Account Managers to expand customer penetration and wallet share.
• Build relationships with maintenance, operations, engineering, and purchasing stakeholders.
• Maintain an active pipeline and manage opportunities independently.
• Significant travel throughout the region with some international travel.
