Job summary

UniFirst in the United States seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to inspect, install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across multiple sites. You will work on large-capacity washers and dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyors, and boilers, following blueprints and established maintenance procedures.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and performing Lockout/Tagout and confined space tasks when required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Able to operate hand and power tools.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems.
• Perform maintenance on washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to guide maintenance work.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow company safety policies.
