Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will work with washers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic systems, following safety policies and maintenance procedures.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and welding as needed. A valid driver’s license and 6 months’ repair experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment, systems, and components.
• Performs maintenance tasks following safety policies and procedures.
• Reads blueprints and schematics to ensure correct installation and operation.
• Performs lockout/tagout and confined space procedures where appropriate.
• Performs welding (MIG, TIG, ARC), cutting, and brazing as needed.
• Travels to multiple company locations to perform maintenance duties.
