Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include servicing large washers and dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, conveyors, and boilers while following safety policies and procedures.

Role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and welding (MIG/TIG/ARC). Travel to various company locations is required; a valid driver’s license and ability to work in a production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Equipment maintenance knowledge – minimum 6 months’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Experience using hand & power tools required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Prior welding experience MIG/TIG/ARC, cutting, brazing.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains industrial equipment across locations.
• Safely operates machinery and systems following blueprints and specs.
• Performs Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures as appropriate.
• Travels to multiple company locations to perform maintenance tasks.
• Provides maintenance information to partners and operates welding activities.
