Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems across multiple company locations. You will perform safety-compliant maintenance, operate hand and power tools, and follow blueprints and engineering specifications.

The role requires welding experience (MIG/TIG/ARC), ability to read maintenance literature in English, and a valid driver’s license for travel between locations. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred/required.
Experience using hand and power tools required; Lockout/Tagout experience preferred; welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC).

Responsibilities

Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment, systems, and components following blueprints and specifications.
Performs maintenance tasks in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Travels to multiple company locations to perform jobs.
Performs welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing as needed.
Provides maintenance information to appropriate partners.
