Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment across facilities. The role requires reading blueprints, performing repairs on washers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and following safety procedures.

Travel to multiple locations is required, with eligibility for welding tasks using MIG/TIG/ARC processes. The ideal candidate has 6 months of equipment maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's

Qualifications

Must have 6 months of equipment maintenance repair experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing) required.

Responsibilities

Install and repair industrial processing equipment per specs.
Use hand and power tools and testing devices.
Ensure safe operation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering specs.
Travel to multiple company locations for assignments.
Perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
