Job summary

UniFirst seeks a maintenance technician to install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and components across multiple locations. The role requires performing preventive and corrective maintenance, following safety policies, and reading blueprints. Welding (MIG/TIG/ARC) and brazing experience is essential.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel are required. Responsibilities include installing machinery, maintaining electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and ensuring a safe work

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in production.
• Technical training and/or military experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics preferred.
• Experience using hand & power tools required.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Welding experience: MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment and components following blueprints/schematics and manufacturer instructions.
• Performs maintenance following safety policies and approved procedures.
• Travels to multiple Company locations to perform duties.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and adheres to regulations.
• Performs welding and brazing on machinery and systems as needed.
