Job summary

UniFirst is hiring a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot industrial systems across our sites in the region. The role involves following blueprints, maintaining safety practices, and performing welding tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of experience with industrial equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. You will travel between company locations and work with maintenance teams to keep equipment running

Qualifications

Must have 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English required.
Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

Install and repair industrial equipment and systems per blueprints and specs.
Perform maintenance tasks following safety policies; include Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures.
Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance.
Carry out welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing) as required.
Provide maintenance information to appropriate partners.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with company safety procedures.
