Job summary

UniFirst is seeking an industrial equipment maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and service large-capacity washers, boilers, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. This role requires reading blueprints, following safety procedures, and performing welding tasks across multiple locations.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of production maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • 6 months of equipment maintenance experience in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
  • Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
  • Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

  • Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, conveyors, boilers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Perform maintenance tasks in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance work.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required (MIG/TIG/ARC, cutting, brazing).
  • Provide maintenance information to appropriate partners.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for repairs and installations.
