Job summary

UniFirst is seeking an industrial equipment maintenance technician to install and troubleshoot large-capacity washers, boilers, conveyors, and related systems. The role requires reading blueprints, performing welding (MIG/TIG/ARC), and using hand and power tools to maintain equipment across multiple sites.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. Safety and compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• 6+ months’ experience repairing industrial equipment in production settings.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Welding experience MIG/TIG/ARC and brazing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems per blueprints and specs.
• Use hand and power tools, precision instruments, and electrical testing devices.
• Ensure safe operation of machinery and pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform maintenance.
• Provide maintenance information to partners.
• Perform welding installations and repairs as required.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
