JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent 1 for Industrial/Manufacturing in Lake Charles, LA. You will plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects, including material/equipment control, people management and ensuring on-time, profitable completion.

You will lead safety culture, coordinate field staff and subcontractors, and drive schedule, QA/QC and project reporting to owners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to promote a zero-accident environment.
• Manage subcontractors and organize overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage project site care, custody and control.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participate in progress meetings.
• Create and manage project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitor budget and costs using cost reports and PM data.
• Communicate key project information to owners, design team, and vendors.
• Ensure QA/QC and documentation; support project closeouts.
• Assist in formwork/tools selection and material procurement processes.
• Support project pursuit, pre-plans and change negotiations.
