Job summary

Oatey Parma, OH is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to support and sustain production equipment, improve operations, and own responsibilities for machine uptime across the plant. You will work on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems while contributing to safety and Lean initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years of maintenance experience, HazMat training, and strong troubleshooting skills with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of production maintenance experience.
Has completed the 24-hour Haz Mat training refresher.
Demonstrated knowledge of drills, saws, hand tools, electronics, welder torch.
High attention to detail and initiative in problem solving.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Follows Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems without supervision.
Works in a team and participates in departmental problem solving.
Completes Preventative Maintenance requests promptly.
Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, compressors.
Answers calls for production support and assists in changeovers/setups.
Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Supports Lean goals and communicates with production teams.
Fosters strong customer/supplier relationships in the plant.
