Job summary

Oatey, located in Omaha, NE, seeks a maintenance technician to support production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and sustain plant operations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems, install equipment, assist with changeovers, and uphold Lean and safety standards.

Requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and HazMat training; PLC classes are a plus, and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of production maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC, digital electronics and circuits.
• HazMat training completed and adherence to safety procedures.
• Strong communication and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and coordinates with production teams.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, and compressors.
• Supports changeovers and setups; responds to production calls.
• Maintains safety practices including LOTO and fire safety requirements.
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean and organized.
