Job summary

Oatey in Parma, OH is seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Technician to support and sustain plant equipment across the production lines. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-related systems and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will install and service motors, pumps, and drives, participate in changeovers, and follow Lean/6S practices. Safety compliance, teamwork, and strong communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of production maintenance experience.
• Has completed Haz Mat 24-hour refresher training and adheres to procedures.
• Familiar with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems and PLC basics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems and equipment.
• Works in a team environment and supports problem-solving across departments.
• Processes and completes Preventative Maintenance requests on schedule.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, compressors.
• Provides maintenance support during changeovers and setups.
• Follows safety guidelines and Lean/6S practices.
