Job summary

Oatey Company in Parma, OH is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to support and sustain production equipment, drive continuous improvement, and own preventative maintenance tasks. You’ll be accountable for machine downtime and contribute to the plant's OEE metrics.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems, install components, assist in changeovers, and uphold Lean practices such as 6S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; PLC classes/certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and completes repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC related systems and equipment without supervision.
• Works in a team environment and supports departmental problem-solving operations.
• Processes and completes assigned Preventative Maintenance requests per standards.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, compressors, etc.
