Job summary

Oatey is seeking a production maintenance professional to sustain and improve manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma and HazMat awareness, with PLC/electrical knowledge and strong teamwork. Applicants should be able to install and service motors, pumps, and compressors, respond to

Qualifications

• Two years of production maintenance experience required.
• HazMat training completed and adhered to procedures.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems; PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and completes repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC related systems and equipment without supervision; complex repairs with minimal supervision.
• Works in a team environment and participates in departmental problem-solving operations.
• Processes and completes Preventative Maintenance requests in a timely manner per established standards.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors, pumps, compressors, etc.
• Answers production support calls; provides maintenance oversight during changeovers and setups.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing goals, including 6S and effective communication with production teams.
• Develops customer/supplier relationships with production teams.
• Follows all safety guidelines and is respirator-fit ready.
