Job summary

Oatey, a long-established plumbing products manufacturer in Parma, Ohio, seeks a Production Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running and improve uptime. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and assist with preventive maintenance.

The role requires at least two years in maintenance, HazMat training, and the ability to read circuits and use shop tools. You’ll work in a safety-conscious, team-driven environment with lean practices.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of production maintenance experience required.
• HazMat training refresher within 24 hours of training provided by the company.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Attention to detail and initiative in problem solving.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safety protocols.
• Able to read AC/DC circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and completes repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical PLC related systems and equipment.
• Works in a team environment and participates in problem-solving activities.
• Processes and completes Preventative Maintenance requests.
• Installs equipment and components such as motors and pumps.
• Supports changeovers and setups for production lines.
• Uses hand and power tools and measuring instruments.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing and 6S housekeeping.
• Maintains safety and communicates status to teams.
