Job summary

Sonoco Greenville is seeking an experienced Maintenance Reliability Technician II-III to support the plant in Greenville, WI. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

You will work with PLCs, drives, and automation equipment, performing preventive/predictive maintenance and root cause analyses to minimize downtime. A safety-first mindset and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational focus preferred.
• Associate degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance is a plus.
• Experience with PLCs, mechanical/electrical systems in industrial environments is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to maximize plant reliability.
• Troubleshoot failures and conduct root cause analysis.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Program and modify PLC logic as needed.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS system.
• Support safety practices and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with Operations to resolve abnormal equipment conditions.
• Lead or mentor junior technicians as required.
