Job summary

Sonoco in Neenah, Wisconsin seeks an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician to maximize plant reliability through proactive maintenance and skilled troubleshooting. You will own mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation tasks, including PLCs, drives, welding, and machining, while documenting activity in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (vocational focus preferred).
• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Experience reading mechanical/electrical schematics and PLC logic.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with CMMS and safety standards NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
• Proactively perform preventive/predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Read schematics, modify/write PLC logic, and repair drives/motors.
• Weld, machine, fabricate and install components as needed.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and lead safety initiatives.
