Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an IT/Network Support Specialist to join our on-site IT team in Capitol Heights, MD. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for users across multiple facilities and maintain VMware infrastructure while supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

The role requires hands-on problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of desktop, network, or IT support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of computers, peripherals, and basic network connectivity.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Strong problem-solving skills with methodical diagnosis and escalation when necessary.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of supporting diverse users.
• Ability to work onsite in an industrial environment and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for users across multiple locations.
• Maintain and support server and VMware infrastructure.
• Support cloud platforms including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory; escalate as needed.
