Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow the Lenexa-Kansas City territory by developing new opportunities and expanding existing accounts in the industrial heating sector.

The role focuses on selling engineered heating and hot water systems, building relationships with engineers and contractors, and delivering consultative solutions through product knowledge and strong service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with boiler, steam, water heating systems is a plus.
• Ability to work with engineers and contractors.
• Hands-on installation/commissioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining existing customers and by discovering new opportunities.
• Grow network of engineers and contractors in territory.
• Sell engineered heating/hot water systems within industrial sector.
• Conduct sales and service activities, develop customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products.
• Organize and conduct product training sessions for customers.
