Job summary

Technibus, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for a range of industrial equipment. The role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving ability, and independent work ethic in diverse environments.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in industrial machinery maintenance, knowledge of motors, pumps, HVAC, and PLCs, and a focus on safety and customer service. Travel to client sites is often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical systems or related fields preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role focusing on industrial machinery.
• Experience with motors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulic systems and PLCs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Equipment Maintenance & Repair: provide hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for a wide range of industrial equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: use tools to identify faults and restore functionality on-site.
• Customer Interaction & Service: act as primary contact, communicate plans, and train customers on operation and upkeep.
• Preventive Maintenance & System Upgrades: conduct PM visits and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and use PPE.
• Documentation & Reporting: complete service reports and track parts/inventory.
