Job summary

Technibus, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Field Service Technician (Industrial) to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation for a variety of industrial equipment in Fort Worth, TX.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, repair and calibrate machinery, and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in field service, strong diagnostic skills, PLC familiarity, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in industrial maintenance or electrical systems preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician focusing on industrial machinery.
• Experience with a broad range of industrial systems (motors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulics) and PLCs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for diverse industrial equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, scopes, vibration analyzers) to identify faults and perform repairs.
• Interact with customers professionally, explain issues and repair plans clearly, and provide training when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend system upgrades to improve efficiency.
• Follow safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and maintain proper PPE usage.
• Complete service reports, track parts and time, and manage equipment records.
• Maintain stocked service vehicles and manage inventory of spare parts.
