Job summary

IES seeks a Field Service Technician (Industrial) to provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for pumps, motors, HVAC, and conveyors at client sites in the Phoenix area. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software faults, install new equipment, and train customers as needed.

3–5 years of industrial field experience, a high school diploma (technical certs preferred), and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in field service, industrial machinery.
• Broad industrial systems knowledge (motors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulics, PLCs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment (pumps, motors, HVAC, conveyors).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues using diagnostic tools; perform repairs/installations.
• Serve as primary client contact; communicate plans and recommendations clearly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades; monitor performance and suggest improvements.
• Adhere to safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and follow LOTO/ PPE guidelines.
• Complete service reports; track parts, inventory, and time; support billing and reporting.
