Job summary

IES seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site support for industrial equipment, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep systems running reliably. You will diagnose issues, install new machinery, and calibrate equipment at client sites with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in field service or similar role with industrial machinery.
• Experience with motors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulic systems, PLCs highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues and perform repairs.
• Install new machinery per client specs and calibrate where needed.
• Communicate plans and results clearly to customers and document work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety/compliance checks on-site.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure vehicles are stocked with tools.
