Job summary

IES is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, install new machinery, and provide customer training and support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in field service or related role.
• Experience with motors, pumps, HVAC, hydraulics, PLCs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for a range of industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic issues and perform repairs.
• Install new machinery per client specifications.
• Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and interpret schematics.
• Serve as primary client contact and provide clear communication.
• Maintain service reports and track parts inventory.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, technical certifications preferred

3–5 years of field service experience
