IES in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Electrical Systems Field Service Technician (Industrial) to provide on-site support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a broad range of industrial equipment. You will help keep machinery operating reliably and safely across customer sites.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, perform preventive maintenance, and install new equipment per client specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on-site.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic installations.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance and repair of industrial equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, HVAC, conveyors).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues; perform repairs or replacements.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and install.
• Provide clear communications to customers about issues and plans.
• Perform preventive maintenance and suggest system upgrades as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards, LOTO, PPE, and reporting requirements.
• Complete service reports and track parts, time, and inventory.
