Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) of Dover Corporation seeks a Field Service Representative for Markem-Imaje. The role focuses on delivering, installing, repairing and testing industrial equipment at customer sites in the Boise area.

You will troubleshoot, train customers, and support sales with demos and service-related activities. Candidates should have a technical background, 3–5 years field service experience, and the ability to work independently with strong time management.

Qualifications

• BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years field service experience a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical system theory and operation.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Willing to share knowledge and conduct training to diverse audiences.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service repairs and preventive maintenance on Markem-Imaje equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the field.
• Train customers and demonstrate equipment operation.
• Install new equipment, conduct routine and emergency repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales for demos, training and follow-up activities.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction per Markem-Imaje quality guidelines.
