Job summary

Bell and Howell is seeking a Field Customer Service Engineer to diagnose and repair industrial robotics and printing equipment across North America. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, and network issues, and provide hands-on service and remote diagnostics as needed.

The role requires strong electronics/mechanics background, DMM experience, and willingness to travel with a focus on minimizing downtime for customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Digital Multimeters (DMM) and test equipment.
• Ability to diagnose electronic and mechanical failures across equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial printing/packaging equipment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Manage parts inventory and customer service calls.
• Maintain positive customer relations and effective communication.
• Act as liaison between customer and other departments.
• Occasional on-call support for emergencies (24/7).
