Job summary

Bell and Howell is looking for a Field Customer Service Engineer to serve as the primary customer contact for a range of industrial, robotic, and printing equipment in the Seattle area. You will diagnose electronic, mechanical, software and system failures, provide remote and on-site support, and guide customers through repairs and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training with 1+ years related industry/equipment experience
• Associate degree preferred
• Strong electronics and mechanical background with ability to troubleshoot software

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial products including printing and packaging equipment and robotics
• Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance inspections
• Manage parts inventory and customer service calls
• Foster positive customer relations and effective communication
• Act as liaison between customer and other departments; respond to emergencies as needed
