Job summary

Bell and Howell, LLC is seeking a Field Customer Service Engineer to serve as the primary customer contact for technical/service issues on industrial, robotic, and printing equipment in the Denver area. You will diagnose electronics, mechanical, and system failures and provide cost-efficient repairs to minimize downtime.

This role requires electrical and mechanical experience, not an IT position, with occasional travel across the United States and Canada for training and service calls.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2-year electronics/advanced mechanics/software training.
• 1+ years related industry/equipment experience.
• Strong electronics and mechanical background with fault-finding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial products including printing and packaging equipment, cash recycling products, inserting and sorting machines, and robotics.
• Schedule and perform regular predictive/preventive maintenance inspections.
• Provide support by managing parts inventory and service calls.
• Foster positive customer relations and effective communication with customers.
• Act as liaison between customer and other departments.
• May provide on-call support up to 7 days/week, 24 hours/day for emergencies.
