Job summary

Bell and Howell seeks a Field Customer Service Engineer to serve as the primary contact for technical and service issues on a wide range of industrial, robotic, and printing equipment. You will diagnose electronics, mechanical, software, and system failures using established procedures from our service training department.

This role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with DMM and related tools; travel in the United States and Canada is possible for training and service

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training.
• Strong electronics and mechanical background with software troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including printing and packaging systems.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections on equipment.
• Manage parts inventory and customer service calls; maintain maintenance schedules.
• Foster strong customer relations and effective communication with customers.
• Act as liaison between customer and other departments of the company.
