Job summary

Bell and Howell is seeking a Field Customer Service Engineer to diagnose and repair a range of industrial, robotic, and printing equipment. You will be the primary customer contact for technical issues, performing hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with DMM use and test equipment.

The role includes travel in the United States and Canada for training and field service, with a focus on minimizing downtime and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in electronics/advanced mechanics or equivalent.
• 1+ years related industry experience.
• Strong electronics and mechanical background.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair industrial products including printing, packaging, robotics and related systems.
• Schedule and perform predictive/preventive maintenance inspections.
• Manage parts inventory and service calls; coordinate with customers.
• Maintain positive customer relations and communicate effectively.
• Act as liaison between customer and other departments.
