Job summary

Tradesmen International is seeking an Industrial Account Executive to grow an assigned sales territory in the industrial, manufacturing, and production space. This is an outside, field-based role—daily in the field, building relationships with plant, facility, and manufacturing clients.

You will generate new business, expand existing accounts, and drive revenue with uncapped commissions. The company emphasizes safety, productivity, and craftsmanship while providing a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 1+ year of outside sales experience.
• Experience in plant maintenance, manufacturing, or job shop environments preferred.
• Proven track record of cold calling, canvassing, and generating new business.
• Ability to close deals while managing a long sales cycle.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, cold call, and canvass to generate new business in industrial clients.
• Make direct sales calls and presentations to plant and facility managers.
• Educate clients on value of skilled, variable workforce.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinators to match staff to orders.
• Maintain and exceed quarterly sales goals.
• Build relationships with client senior management and jobsite superintendents.
• Manage client lifecycle: onboarding, satisfaction checks, issue resolution.
• Support field employees by prep for assignments and dispatch follow-up.
• Track sales activity and maintain client records in Salesforce.
• Represent Tradesmen at trade shows and events to build referrals.
• Report to local General Manager and help territory strategy.
