Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, design and construction tasks, estimating, quality control, scheduling and safety oversight on client projects.

This position is field‑based, with work conducted at project sites or from the field when needed, and requires coordination with site leadership and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence across projects in the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports and quality control.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule, escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for record keeping.
• Take progress photos and label each photograph for records.
• Assist in Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawings are used.
• Provide support to Project Construction Manager and assist with key trades as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Communicate project issues clearly and professionally with management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records and comply with CDM Smith document control requirements.
