Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, conducts field-based construction projects across the United States. This Intermediate Construction Professional handles site engineering, administration, estimation, scheduling, safety, quality control, and design direction for assigned projects.

Work is performed under general supervision, supporting field or office operations depending on project needs. Pay range details are provided and project leadership ensures adherence to schedule and quality

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations including scheduling, daily/quality control reports, and drawings conformance.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photograph.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• May assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May be responsible for key trades/subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with Project Manager.
• Provide professional correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records/files per CDM Smith requirements.
• Follow the CDM Smith Quality Policy and Quality Systems Work Instructions.
• Pay range minimum: $68,370
• Pay range maximum: $112,840

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

High school diploma or equivalent
