Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD seeks an Industrial Engineering Manager Level 2 to lead the IE team and drive capacity planning, Lean Six Sigma excellence, and manufacturing analytics. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience applying Industrial Engineering methods in manufacturing, including capacity analysis and work measurement.
• Experience translating manufacturing data into actionable recommendations for productivity improvements.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration to implement manufacturing improvements.
• Lean/Six Sigma training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Industrial Engineering team, setting priorities and performance expectations.
• Oversee capacity planning, facilities planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guide near-term capacity/execution planning and align with Operations priorities.
• Oversee manufacturing layout, project portfolio, and cross-functional coordination to minimize disruption.
• Establish metrics and KPI reporting to translate data into actionable ops recommendations.
• Oversee SAP routing maintenance and ERP support with Manufacturing, Test, and Quality teams.
• Develop and execute a roadmap to expand IE capabilities across operations.
