Job summary
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Staff Engineer Industrial to lead analyses of production flows and facility planning, driving efficiency and cost performance for defense-grade programs.
You will mentor teammates, perform simulations, develop plans for capital assets, and collaborate with leaders to meet program milestones while ensuring safety and quality. Requires readiness for US Secret clearance and extensive manufacturing background.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field required.
- 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's, or 10+ years with a Master's, or 8+ with a PhD.
- Experience with strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Strategic planning and develop deployment plans to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Develop and summarize analyses for capital assets and plant layouts.
- Perform manufacturing simulations.
- Provide scheduling and capacity planning analyses.
- Mentor technical staff and lead initiatives for cost and schedule performance.
- Coordinate with IPTs and leadership to meet program milestones.
