Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments, ensuring safety and reliability of facility electrical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong NEC/NFPA 70E/70B knowledge, and experience with power distribution, motors, and controls; travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficiency with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
Experience with arc-flash safety and safety protocols.
Knowledge of NEC rules and OSHA/NFPA 70E standards.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat and faults.
Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for performance and longevity.
Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors for proper function.
Assess equipment conditions and maintenance risks.
Apply lockout/tagout and arc-flash safety practices.
Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
Document inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Identify and mitigate issues to minimize downtime and costs.
Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team.
