Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. The role emphasizes safety, NFPA 70B compliance, and uptime through servicing power distribution equipment, motors, and controls.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, and documenting findings. Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E preferred; travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
• Proficiency with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
• Commitment to safety procedures including LOTO and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat signatures.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution systems and motors to verify proper operation.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Communicate findings to customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Enforce safety programs and site-specific requirements.
