Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems within industrial environments. The role focuses on maintaining reliability, safety, and uptime of facility electrical infrastructure in line with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards.

The technician will service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems, conducting infrared thermography, visual inspections, and electrical testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Proficient with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
• Able to develop preventive maintenance strategies and interpret arc-flash studies.
• Familiar with NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, OSHA rules, and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
• Conduct infrared thermography and visual inspections to identify faults and wear.
• Execute testing on power distribution, controls, and motors to verify performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, corrective actions, and recommendations.
• Ensure safety practices, including LOTO, arc-flash awareness, and site safety requirements.
